Technology and Social Skills

It seems that in pop culture today, life revolves around technology. We use our phones every second of everyday, or we are constantly glued to the television or video games. In all honesty, the use of technology is started to become a dangerous habit. This is leading to several issues. One of these being lack of social skills.

Because of technology, a person doesn't even have to leave there house to have a full on in depth conversation with someone. Now why is this a bad thing? Well because without having an up close and personal conversation with a person face to face, one begins to forget how they are supposed to act in front of others. This could easily lead to lack of social skill and other social habits.

In other words, although television and the next Iphone are pretty cool and useful, just try putting them down for a little while and remember what its like to talk to a human being and refresh your true, nontechnological social skills.
