Are We Really that Different?

It seems that today people always tend to look at what a person is wearing to try and figure out who a person is. Now whether a person dresses to impress or rather to fit in with a group, or just to dress for comfort. Based on the Old Navy article, it seems that they distribute clothes that all look the same. In their defense, most people do not look at this in the eyes that everyone buys these clothes to look alike. People dress in ways that they do because its what they feel comfortable in. Whether it be comfortable with the way they look or the way they feel. Although people dress to feel comfortable, some dress to fit in or to be a part of the crowd. In the Old Navy article, they discuss how all people who shop at Old Navy are very cookie cutter and all want to dress exactly the same.

Now on that note, why should it matter how people decide to dress? Retail stores such as Old Navy and Ikea have all the right in the world to distribute what they want. They are not pulling customers in through some for of black magic and by any kind of lies and tricks. Old Navy's products are placed out in stores for everyone to see with a variety of options for customers to choose from. This is why it is hard to believe that the Old Navy corporation is hard to believe to have turned all of their  customers into mindless zombies. People try to blend, dress for comfort, and dress to fit in. Old Navy makes it possible for people to do so and their isn't anything wrong with that.http://www.couponing101.com/wp-content/uploads/2011/11/old-navy-logo.jpg
